Grapple Service
Commercial Grapple Truck Services
At J&M Underground we provide commercial grapple truck services for projects that generate more debris than a dumpster can handle. Our hydraulic grapple trucks load bulky, heavy and awkward material straight from the curb, the staging area or the job site, so your crew can stay focused on the work instead of loading trucks by hand. The result is a faster cleanup, safer access and a property that is ready for the next phase.
Every job is planned around your site, your schedule and the type of material on the ground. Our Commercial Grapple Truck Services include:
Construction & Demolition Debris Removal: Removal of lumber, concrete pieces, drywall, roofing, metal and other leftovers from new builds, renovations and demolition projects.
Land Clearing Debris: Pickup of brush, stumps, logs, limbs and cleared vegetation so lots and rights-of-way stay open and ready for work.
Storm Debris Cleanup: Fast response after tropical storms and hurricanes to clear fallen trees, fences, roofing and damaged material that block roads, driveways and entrances.
Yard Waste & Tree Trimming Piles: Collection of large piles of trimmings and landscaping waste from commercial properties, HOAs and property managers.
Bulky Item Pickup: Removal of furniture, appliances, pallets and oversized items that are too big for regular collection.
Job Site Cleanup: Scheduled pickups that keep staging areas and work zones clean, organized and compliant with site safety requirements.
Tight-Access Pickup: The grapple boom reaches over curbs and barriers, letting us work in locations where a roll-off container simply does not fit.

Grapple Service FAQ
When Would I Need To Hire A Grapple Truck Service?
A grapple truck is the right call whenever you have a large or heavy pile of material that would take too long to load by hand or would not fit in a container. Common examples include construction and demolition debris, land clearing brush and logs, storm damage, tree trimming piles, pallets and oversized bulky items. If the material is piled on the ground and needs to be gone quickly, a grapple truck can usually handle it in a single visit.
Are Grapple Truck Services Environmentally Friendly?
Yes. Grapple truck pickups follow responsible disposal practices. J&M Underground hauls material to approved disposal and recycling facilities and separates recyclable items such as clean wood, metal and concrete whenever possible. Loading directly from the ground also means fewer trips and no extra container deliveries, which helps reduce fuel use and traffic.
What Types Of Materials Can A Grapple Truck Pick Up?
Our grapple trucks pick up construction and demolition debris, lumber, concrete and masonry pieces, roofing, metal, brush, tree limbs, logs, stumps, yard waste, storm debris, pallets, furniture and other bulky items. Hazardous materials, liquids and certain regulated waste cannot be loaded with a grapple. If you are not sure whether something qualifies, call us and we will let you know the best way to handle it.
Do I Still Need To Rent A Dumpster?
No. The grapple truck loads material straight from the ground into its own body, so there is no container to order, place, fill and wait to be picked up. This makes the service especially useful for sites with limited space, public right-of-way pickups and projects where a dumpster would block access or require a permit.
How Does A Grapple Truck Work?
A grapple truck is equipped with a hydraulic boom and a claw-style grapple. The operator extends the boom over the pile, closes the grapple around the material, lifts it and places it into the truck body. This lets us pick up heavy, bulky or tangled material without a loading crew. For safe operation we need a clear path for the truck, solid ground to work from and enough overhead clearance, free of low wires or branches. Our team will confirm these details with you when scheduling.
What Affects The Cost Of Grapple Truck Service?
Pricing depends on the type and amount of material, how easy it is to reach, the distance to the disposal facility and how soon you need the pickup. Mixed or very heavy material may cost more to dispose of than clean wood or vegetation. We offer free, no-obligation estimates, and sending photos of the pile helps us give you an accurate quote faster.
